Testimonials

I began dancing at age 3 and have searched everywhere for the information you disseminate. Thank you, thank you, and thank you! For all the dancers now and in the future, please continue offering the scientific, factual information that helps us dance longer and feel better about our dancing and our bodies.

In dance classes as well as in my private practice I hear similar questions over and over again: How do I improve my turnout? What does it mean when my hip clunks in my battement? My newsletter/blog, Dancing Smart, will answer questions like these and more, that come from you the dancers and dance teachers who are professionals in our field. We can learn from each other.

I look forward to sharing the knowledge and expertise I have gathered over the years from being a dancer, teacher and neuromuscular educator. I'm so appreciative of being able to coach dancers to overcome physical and mental obstacles and stay on track to achieving their dreams.

This forum cannot replace an in-person consultation with a dance medicine specialist, but ideally will provide guidance in how to approach common complaints of dancers. Below is where you ask me your questions about anatomy, technique, and those “I wonder what it means when...” questions.

If you aren't already receiving the Dancing Smart newsletter, now is the time to sign up!
